Heart Of Zion

Statement Of Faith

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Heart of Zion Ministry is an Apostolic center that is holy, spirit-filled, non-denominational, and a multi-ethnic network. This ministry is built on the foundations of the resurrected Christ, the chief cornerstone which produces apostolic training functions in equipping the maturing of saints that will bring glory to Jesus Christ through establishing the Kingdom of God.

This Ministry is founded on the following scriptures:

The Great Commission and discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20).

The perfecting of disciple for the work of the ministry of Jesus (Eph. 4:11-16),

The advancement and establishment of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:15,1 Peter 2:9).

We believe scripture teaches there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal himself as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4,Isaiah 43:10,11,Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22).

We Believe in the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. ( Eph. 2:20).

We Believe the saints are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)

We believe He came through man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and offering it to all who repent of their sin and live in faith in Him (Matthew 1:23,John 3:16,1 Corinthians 15:3).

We believe in the Holy Spirit’s leading (Matthew 4:1,Romans 8:14,Galatians 5:18,Isaiah 59:21,Romans 8:26-27,Galatians 5:25)

We believe for salvation of the lost and in the regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 2:8,2 Corinthians 2:15,2 Timothy 1:9, Romans 10:13-15).

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling in the Christian is enabled to live a holy life

(Romans 8:5,1 John 2:29, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body (Isaiah 53:4, James 5:14, 1 Peter 2:24).

We believe in Jesus’ gifts to the church, the 5-fold ministry( Eph.4:11)

We believe in the seven-fold ministry, the spirit of the Lord will rest on His saints in the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord, and they will delight in the fear of the Lord.

They will not judge by what they see with their eyes, or decide by what they hear with their ears. But by discernment and prayer finding counsel with the Lord. (Isaiah 11-2:3)

We believe the Spirit of the Lord is upon the Saints, who he has anointed to proclaim good news to the poor. Who he has sent to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,( Luke 4:18)

We believe in the seven graces which are:

(1) Insight (prophecy).

(2) Helpfulness (service or ministry).

(3) Instruction (teaching).

(4) Encouragement.

(5) Generosity (giving).

(6) Guidance (leadership), and

(7) Compassion. (Romans 12:6-8)

We Believe in the unity of the body, “ I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one”  (John 17).

We Believe in foreseeing Isaiah 61 coming to pass, where the people of God would walk in identity releasing awakening to the nations.
