According to a study conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics, approximately 3.5 million students attended private schools in the United States in 2017. Of those students, approximately 80% attended religiously affiliated schools. Additionally, research shows that students who attend faith-based schools have higher academic achievement, higher graduation rates, and better social-emotional development than their peers who attend public schools.

Proposal:

Our faith-based school will serve students in grades K-12 and will offer a rigorous academic curriculum that meets or exceeds state and national standards. Our curriculum will include a strong emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, as well as language arts, social studies, and the arts.
