Heart Of Zion

It is a journey of a God-discovery. A journey of finding our true self. The good and bad. The light and the dark. The war wages on within each one of us. We are a battlefield where our identity is hidden behind the veil of secrecy by lies of the adversary. And it is up to each one of us to unfurl the mystery and claim who we are. We are children of God. We are Gods representatives on earth in our mission to overthrow Satan.

We are not subject to the world we live in; but our decisions and our actions make us who we are. We have already been influenced by the enemy to turn from God and we continue to be each day we make choices that lead us down a path separate from God. But God is so merciful and loving he knows we need help to overcome this world and all its wickedness, the father provides it in the form of a savior, a brother to all of his children.

The devil is the mastermind of the war we are in, and he has a plan. He knows that if he can keep us from remembering who we are and where we come from, we will forget who God is and his plan. If we forget that our father loves us and wants us to be happy, we will never believe that he sent us here to have joy.

We have been separated from our home in heaven, we have been sent here to find it again. To travel back we must choose to follow Christ, to stay on the path and renew our love for God and his children all around us. When we come to earth God gives us a mission, and a purpose. We are to follow Christ, which is a daily act of renewing our baptismal covenants through prayer and service.

The enemy knows he has a limited time to destroy us before our heavenly home is opened and we are told that home is waiting for us. The only way to keep us from returning to our eternal home is to trick us into believing that our children have a place in this world and the Heavenly Father does not love us. He does everything in his power to prove he loves us. Our heavenly Father will never leave us never forsake us.

The moment we agree to God’s will and go out on our mission that is our timing. God begins the timing of our destiny the very moment we become His true follower.

The purpose of our life never changes it is always to please God, every thought, word and deed our purpose is to glorify him. But the timing varies it varies according to our ego. Our ego distorts everything we do. It’s the root of our problems, the cause of all evil. You see God’s timing is perfect he has been working on this creation for eternity before time began. There was never a moment when his creation was not in motion.

There is a time for the day and a time for the night, 1 Corinthians 15:38. There is a time for life and a time for death and a time to embrace eternity. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to mourn. A time to plant and a time to reap, Ecclesiastes 3:3. A time to kill, and a time to heal, 1 Corinthians 16:13.

The time of our purpose is set the moment we say yes to God, the purpose is set in stone. The question is what do we do with the time we have with the purpose we have been given? It is so easy to sit…and do nothing but wait. In our times we make excuses to do this. We make excuses when confronted by our purpose.

He has given us a time to come to him, that is today, right now. We know He will always be ready to save, love and give life. He will always be there with a hug and a smile, loving and caring for his children. Let us be there for him, we are his family. We are the ones he loves, there is no need to wait. We have a purpose on this earth, and we have time with the one who created us. We are all seeking for what Jesus has so freely given us.

Some, in all their searching, find something not as good, nor as desirable. They will not come to the light of Jesus because they have such a hard heart. Why do they not come to Jesus? Some of these people have a desire to know, but it is limited, and they are seeking to know in the wrong way. They ask questions, but don’t listen.

The time to seek understanding is now while we have time to spare. Our lives will be filled with time and time will be filled with learning to know him, as he is fully God as well as fully Man.

The bridegroom is Waiting.
